Galvanised Welded Mesh Sheet 2.4x1.2m wire 3.15mm mesh opening 50x50mm
Galvanised steel welded wire mesh panels are manufactured by welding thick diameter steel wires to form a rectangular or square mesh hole. The weld mesh panel is then hot-dip galvanized which protects the steel from rust corrosion and gives the panels its silver / zinc coloured appearance. Steel weld mesh panels are used for security cages, aviaries, garden fences, garden screening,dog fencing, leaf covers for ponds, vegetable frames and around machinery in factories and production areas for health and safety
Our flat mesh steel sheets are available in many mesh sheet sizes, wire thicknesses and mesh apertures. Wire diamters range from 2mm dia. up to 5mm dia. with mesh holes ranging from 25x25mm (1" x 1" inch), 50x50mm (2" x 2" inches), 75x75mm (3" x 3" inches), 75x25mm (3" x 1" inches) and 150x75mm (6" x 3" inches).

welded wire mesh panels are protected from corrosion through their hot-dipped galvanization process after the steel mesh has been welded. Hot-dip galvanisation is a manufacturing process where the welded steel mesh sheet is dipped into a bath of molten zinc, totally encapsulating the steel.

The hot-dipped galvanisation process can result in some of the products having a rough texture. Although this is uncommon we advise all our customers to consider their intended application and use and whether rough textured metallic edges may cause an issue - this is an issue if children may be in regular contact with the mesh. In most cases weld wire panels are smooth and cause no issues.
